WINE MAKING MASTER NOTES
Selected from a single block in Marananga and harvested only before dawn for the fruit to maintain in cool temperatures, The Renaissance is a true field blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Riesling, highlighted with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. The fruit was destemmed with the whole berry immediately pressed to the tank for settling. Natural fermentation occurred as the juice warmed with no added acid. Once fermentation was complete the wine was settled, racked and left to sit on lees in tank and some seasoned French oak. The extended lees time gives the wine a soft creamy texture and delicate complexity. The wine was then bottled without fining.

Its refined palate is crafted to bring lemony, creamy characters and a cut of ultra-fine tannin lending some chew and chalkiness to harmony. The long lingering flavours have the finish of a cavalcade composed with briny minerality, sweet spice and nutty savouriness.
